2- the United States and Great Britain operate under a two-party system .


3- The British Prliament has two separate houses ,the House of Commons and the House of

Lords; likewise , the United States Congress has two separate houses, the Senate and the

House of Representatives.


4- The U.S House of Representatives and the British House of Commons are the same . And

the U.S Senate is the same as the British House of Lords.

5- Not only the members of the U.S House of Representatives but also the members of the

British House of Commons are elected by district.

6- The method of choosing cabinet members in both the United stated and Great Britain are

the same .

7-In Greaat Britain , the the prime minister appoints the cabinet ; similarily , the U.S

president appoints the cabinet.

8- The British monarch has the right to veto any law passed by Parliament, just as the U.S president has the right to veto any law passed by the Congress.
